Athens is one of the world’s oldest cities, with a recorded history of about 3,400 years and known for its culture, philosophy, architecture, and literature. You will have an opportunity to experience the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).
